Due to cost over runs on average of 55% per school. The State of Maine has it right with cookie cutter design that are not a get rich quick for Public School design firms.
Thought that the administration had an ironclad go from Tim Cahill as reported by the Mayor. Must have mistaken no for yes again. So now the question is where do we get $90 million plus for the High School on an already strained budget that made Wenham make yet another ladder save in Beverly because of lack of a ladder truck due to LACK of Funds. Talk about double talk from this administration.

Scanlon up to his old tricks on the campaign trail. First, look into background of candidate, then if you cannot find something to use make it up. His managers have always went the smut root. Degrading the background of all competition. Joyce McMahon was used before against Mayor Crean putting in a complaint to the Ethics Commission (favorite place to use) about accepting more than $50.00 at the grand reopening of the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. The Commission found in Crean's defense that he had only accepted $15.00 in food. Nice try Joycee!!!
Not to mention the BS about the vacation pay and computer by his next campaign manager for political use and advantage. To help Mayor Crean call your councillor and say "Why are you spending our taxes to hurt a good family man?" Enough is Enough!!!!!!!! For Patrick Lucci the stuff about his companies were ridiculous, can we not remember what Bill Scanlon did to the United Shoe and its employees.
PS: Did you know that Mayor Crean's family suffered $5000.00 in damages to vehicles in his driveway the night he beat Bill Scanlon. Nice crowd eh?

Seems like more people are starting to believe that the Scanlon Administration does not know where new High School money is coming from.
A new group called yes for beverly has taken it upon themselves to go for raising money through a debt exclusion. This is probably the only way Beverly can afford a new wing. Scanlon has no clue where money can come from, the not to worry attitude does not work anymore. He has used and used again the money from Cummings. Even if all parcels that could be developed were the chance for using these taxes would be in 2018 without crippling essential services.
If Scanlon had a money plan where was it in the last election. The election before that he promised to get back accreditation, so much for that promise. Now he wants to sue NEASC just like everything else his legal staff will lose this too.
Yes for Beverly needs to rethink their figures, by the time the wing is built count on 90 Million. This City cannot let Bill Scanlon keep charging like the old joke "I must have money I still have checks".
